MY JAMES FAMILY

James James married Lemeniah Johns in the MAR quarter 1894 Redruth (Vol 5c Page 312) (In 1901 James is 28 and a General Farm Labourer. Lemeniah is 32. The family are living in St Erth Praze - next door to Frank and Hester) (In 1911 James is aged 39 and a Horseman on a Farm. Lemeniah is aged 39. The family is living in St Erth Praze) (In 1921 James is aged 48 and a Farm Lab employed by Mr Rogers of Trelean. Lemeniah is aged 49. The family is living in St Erth Praze) ( James died of Cancer at Higher Trelean, St Erth Praze on 18 APR 1928) (Lemeniah died in the JUN quarter 1937 aged 65 - Penzance 5c 243) ( Both James and Lemeniah are buried in Townshend Methodist Chapel Cemetery)

Florence May James	Born in the SEP quarter 1896 (Redruth 5c 217)	In 1901 she is at home aged 4 In 1911 she is aged 14 and a Servant, working for Ernest Rogers, Farmer of Trelean Farm In 1921 she is aged 23 and in the home of Peter Treelor, Farmer of Godolphin Manor, Breage) Worked as Cook and later as Housekeeper for Lord and Lady St Levan on St Michaels Mount. Married William J. Honey in the JUN quarter 1937 (Penzance 5c 444) They had one son called John J. Honey in the MAR quarter 1939 (Penzance 5c 237)
Eliza Harvey James (known as Lylie)	Born in the SEP quarter 1898 in Gwinear (Redruth Vol 5c Page 214)	In 1901 she is at home aged 2 In 1911 she is at home aged 12 and a Scholar In 1921 she is at home aged 22 Lived in St Erth Praze and never married. Worked for the Rodda Family at Gear Farm. Died in Mount Pleasant, Hayle on 21 JAN 1984 aged 85 years. Buried in Townshend Methodist Chapel Cemetery with her parents.
Louisa James	Born on 30 JAN 1900 in St Erth Baptised on 7 MAY 1900	In 1901 she is at home aged 1 In 1911 she is at home aged 11 and a Scholar In 1921 she is at home aged 21 and a Dressmaker Lived in St Erth Praze. Married Dick Williams who was a bit of an unsavoury character. They didn't have any children. Louisa had two nervous breakdowns which resulted in spells in Bodmin Mental Hospital. One day Dick did one of his vanishing tricks and never returned. Louisa died in an old peoples home in Carbis Bay. Date unknown.

William Thomas James married Mona T. Carter in the SEP quarter 1920 (Penzance 5c 535) (In 1921 William is aged 26 and working for John Mitchell, Farmer of Tredren Barton, St Erth. Mona is aged 20. They are living with Moma's adopted father Philip Francis in Church Town, St Erth) (William worked at Trelean Farm before his marriage. He had a bit of a short fuse and the family moved around a lot. He worked for George Eustice at Bezurral Farm, Mr Penna at Nance Farm in Illogan (around 1928-30) and Alfred Benny at Taskus Farm, Deveral. The family at that time were living in Caloose. The family also had a short stay in the Redruth Union. When Mr Benny sold the Farm he bought Trevela Farm near Crantock and William went with him and the family moved to Newquay where William died in 1972. Mona died there in 1979, the day before her 80th birthday)

Audrey Sidwell James	Around 1921	Went to live with Aunt Lylie in St Erth Praze when the family went into Redruth Union around 1927. Had a daughter Sylvia James from an affair with an Army Officer. Married Reggie Tribilcock around 1950 and had a large family in Hayle. Terry (died @1999), Rita, Donald, Michael, Shirley, Pam, Patricia and Roger. Reg died around 1991 and Audrey died around 1995.
Jim James	5 AUG 1923	Married Mary Gosnell. Lives in Borehamwood
Pamela James	5 APR 1924	Married Bill Glanvile from St Blazey and had a daughter Shirley (@1944). Pam and Bill divorced. Remarried Len Rowe from Bodmin and had a daughter Christine (@1947) who lives in St Columb and a son Russell (@1948) who has a small holding in Crantock. Len died of Leukemia age 21. Married Harold Luke and they live in St Columb Minor
Nina James	1929/30	Died of pneumonia when she was around two years old.
Desmond James	DEC 1931	Married Wendy Laughton. They have a son Alan and daughter Julie. Des and Wendy Live in Borehamwood
