Beatrice J. James | Born around 1881 | Married Fred Marcotte of Oakland. Became
a teacher and taught in the old North Star School and at the Lincoln School.
In 1920 Fred is aged 30 and an Electrician. Beatrice is aged 32. They are living in Oakland, Alameda, California Beatrice died in August 1962 |
James B. James | Born around 1885 | Died in 1895 aged 9 |
Frank James | 18 October 1887 | Entered the US Army on 3 November 1917. As
a member of Company D, 18th US Infantry, 1st Division he saw action in
France. He received the regimental decoration Fourre Guerre from the French
government. Discharged on 30 September 1919. In 1920 he is at home aged 32 and a Fartm Lab In 1930 he is 41 and a Farmer living with his brother William Frank died at the Springhill Manor Convalescent Hospital on 4 March 1969. Interred in the family plot of the Grass Valley city cemetery |
